Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms leveraging superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum-classical hybrid system integration
- Optimize quantum annealing solutions for real-world optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define quantum processor architectures
- Translate quantum advantage proofs into production-ready frameworks
- Secure government grants and corporate partnerships for quantum research
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, Cirq, and low-level quantum control systems
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control electronics
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
