Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement high-level system architectures for hybrid quantum-classical AI applications.
- Algorithm Development: Develop and optimize quantum algorithms to solve complex optimization and machine learning problems.
- Integration: Bridge the gap between quantum hardware and classical software stacks, ensuring seamless data flow and error mitigation.
- Team Mentorship: Guide a team of brilliant engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Roadmap Planning: Contribute to the technical roadmap for the 2026 release cycle, identifying emerging technologies and integration points.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, physicists, and product managers to define product requirements and technical feasibility.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Information Science.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong portfolio of production-level code.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Core Competency: Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and machine learning fundamentals.
- Cloud Expertise: Experience deploying applications on major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) with a focus on specialized quantum services.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
