Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the 2026 Strategic Technology Roadmap, aligning innovation with business goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and prototype emerging technologies (e.g., Advanced AI, Quantum Readiness, AR/VR) to determine their viability for integration.
- Partner with cross-functional teams—including Engineering, Product, and Marketing—to translate futuristic concepts into actionable development plans.
- Conduct competitive analysis to anticipate market shifts and ensure Nexus Horizon maintains a competitive edge.
- Manage a budget for R&D initiatives and report on the ROI of new tech investments.
- Build and mentor a team of futurists and technical innovators to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in technology strategy, R&D management, or a senior technical leadership role.
- Deep understanding of emerging tech trends, specifically in Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Architecture, and Digital Transformation.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering long-term technology strategies that drive business growth.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex technical data into clear business insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present visionary concepts to executive stakeholders and non-technical teams alike.
- Experience in a fast-paced, scaling startup environment is highly preferred.
