Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy robust Python backend services using Django and FastAPI.
- Architect and optimize relational and NoSQL databases to ensure maximum throughput and low latency.
- Collaborate closely with frontend engineers and product managers to define API requirements and deliver seamless integrations.
- Implement rigorous testing strategies, including unit and integration tests, to ensure code reliability and high coverage.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to engineering best practices and documentation.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and refactor legacy code to improve system scalability and maintainability.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Python.
- Expert proficiency in Python web frameworks (Django, Flask, or FastAPI) and asynchronous programming.
- Deep experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and caching technologies (Redis).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong grasp of RESTful API design, web security standards (OAuth, JWT), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment.
