Responsibilities
- Design & Architecture: Lead the architecture and development of low-latency neural data transmission protocols for consumer-grade wearables.
- Signal Processing: Develop advanced algorithms to filter, interpret, and enhance neural signals in real-time with minimal cognitive load.
- Firmware Engineering: Write high-performance C++ and Rust firmware for embedded systems interfacing with neural sensors.
- System Integration: Collaborate with the AI team to ensure seamless integration of neural data into predictive machine learning models.
- R&D Leadership: Conduct feasibility studies for novel BCI modalities, such as non-invasive cortical mapping.
- Testing & Optimization: Implement rigorous testing suites to ensure stability, security, and biocompatibility of interface hardware.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Neuroscience, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in embedded systems, signal processing, or BCI development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in C++, Python, MATLAB, and FPGA design.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of bio-signals (EEG, ECoG) and noise reduction techniques.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to cross-functional teams.
