Responsibilities
- Design and implement lean manufacturing processes to improve production efficiency by 20%+
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma methodologies
- Develop and optimize CNC machining workflows for high-precision components
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype new manufacturing technologies
- Train production teams on advanced equipment operation and safety protocols
- Analyze production data using ERP/MES systems to identify bottlenecks
- Manage capital equipment projects from concept to implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering (required)
- 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and manufacturing simulation software
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or higher (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience with CNC machining and automation systems
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven problem-solving abilities
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance (if applicable)
- Excellent communication skills with cross-functional leadership experience
