Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Senior Generative AI Engineer to join our elite team in San Francisco. As we define the roadmap for 2026, we are building the infrastructure that will power the next generation of intelligent applications. You will be responsible for architecting, training, and deploying cutting-edge Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal systems that solve complex real-world problems.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical research and production-grade engineering, ensuring our AI systems are scalable, secure, and efficient at scale.
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain scalable LLM pipelines using PyTorch, TensorFlow, and JAX.
- Optimize model inference latency and reduce operational costs for production workloads.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures to enhance factual accuracy.
- Collaborate with data scientists to fine-tune foundation models on proprietary datasets.
- Design and implement MLOps pipelines for automated monitoring, retraining, and deployment.
- Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of model outputs to ensure safety and alignment.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering with a focus on NLP.
- Deep understanding of Transformer architectures, attention mechanisms, and diffusion models.
- Proficiency in Python, CUDA, and distributed computing frameworks (Ray, Dask, Spark).
- Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
