Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight strategy, identifying breakthrough opportunities in AI ethics, quantum applications, and climate tech
- Lead scenario-planning initiatives to prepare for disruptive market shifts and regulatory changes
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype next-gen solutions using bleeding-edge technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to investors, board members, and industry consortiums
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and innovation partners
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through internal education and external thought leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with demonstrable impact on product roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Exceptional data modeling and trend analysis skills with proficiency in foresight frameworks
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on technological disruption
- Published thought leader in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Deep understanding of ethical implications of advanced technologies
