Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum, and biotech sectors
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype next-gen systems with 10-year scalability
- Analyze global tech trends and geopolitical impacts on innovation ecosystems
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through strategic partnerships and grant proposals
- Present futurist insights to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Oversee patent portfolios protecting breakthrough technologies
- mentor junior futurists in emerging methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism or R&D leadership
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on AI/quantum applications
- Track record of scaling technologies from concept to market dominance
- Deep expertise in ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation
- Experience securing federal SBIR grants and DARPA partnerships
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (AFS) or similar
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, or Japanese preferred
