Responsibilities
- Lead 3-5 year technology horizon scanning and trend analysis for strategic planning
- Develop and present futuristic scenarios for C-suite executives across Fortune 500 clients
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype emerging tech solutions (AR/VR, neuromorphic chips)
- Author thought leadership reports published in industry journals and at global conferences
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures-thinking methodologies and strategic foresight
- Secure $2M+ annual innovation budget through data-driven ROI projections
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futures research
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record developing tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI
- Exceptional scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies certification
- Published author in technology journals or conference speaker (TED/WSJ/IEEE)
- Proficiency in futures analysis tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning software)
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 major tech innovations brought to market
