Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics compliance frameworks aligned with 2026 regulatory projections (e.g., EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights)
- Conduct risk assessments for autonomous systems, generative AI, and predictive analytics tools
- Develop bias detection protocols and mitigation strategies for machine learning pipelines
- Lead stakeholder workshops to establish ethical AI standards across product teams
- Monitor global AI governance developments and advise executive leadership on compliance implications
- Prepare regulatory documentation and represent the company in ethics audits
- Train engineering teams on responsible AI development practices and ethical deployment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field; PhD preferred
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or ethics with exposure to generative AI
- Deep understanding of evolving AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Experience conducting bias audits for ML models and data pipelines
- Strong knowledge of ethical AI frameworks (Asilomar Principles, IEEE Ethically Aligned Design)
- Certification in AI ethics or compliance (e.g., AI Ethics Certificate, CCEP)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts to technical teams
