Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and social trends to create 5-year strategic forecasts
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for market volatility and disruption scenarios
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Produce executive briefings and trend reports for stakeholder decision-making
- Identify and nurture partnerships with innovation labs and research institutions
- Mentor junior strategists and build foresight methodologies across departments
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial success
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking
- Strong data visualization skills with proficiency in tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Exceptional communication abilities for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
- Experience with AI/ML impact assessment and ethical tech frameworks
