Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary foresight initiatives to map technological, social, and economic trends through 2026
- Develop and maintain horizon scanning frameworks identifying breakthrough innovations with strategic implications
- Produce executive-grade scenario analyses and strategic roadmaps for board-level decision-making
- Partner with R&D and product teams to integrate foresight findings into innovation pipelines
- Represent the organization at global forums on future-focused topics including AI ethics, climate resilience, and neurotech
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures-thinking methodologies and strategic foresight tools
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on emerging paradigms
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing enterprise-level strategic roadmaps for 5+ year horizons
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent field
- Published author or keynote speaker on future-focused topics preferred
