Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Produce strategic foresight reports and scenario-planning models for executive stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints integrating biotech, AI, and sustainability trends
- Design and facilitate immersive foresight workshops with Fortune 500 partners
- Translate complex future scenarios into product roadmaps and investment priorities
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor junior strategists in emerging methodologies like predictive analytics and trend synthesis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial products or policy changes
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (articles, whitepapers, books)
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term strategic pivots
