Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year horizon scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and disruptive business models
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning, trend analysis, and risk assessment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate future insights into product development, market strategy, and organizational planning
- Produce high-impact deliverables including trend reports, scenario narratives, and strategic recommendations for executive stakeholders
- Build and cultivate a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts to inform our strategic outlook
- Present complex future-oriented concepts to diverse audiences through compelling visualizations and storytelling
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, sustainable systems) and their societal implications
- Proven track record of developing and implementing scenario planning methodologies for long-term strategy
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to executive leadership and boards
- Certification in strategic foresight or futures studies (e.g., from the Association of Professional Futurists)
