Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing domains
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps aligned with macroeconomic shifts and technological inflection points
- Facilitate executive workshops on scenario planning and disruption modeling
- Author thought leadership publications on future-of-work implications and ethical AI governance
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-generation solutions with 3-5 year adoption horizons
- Build cross-functional innovation incubators for moonshot initiatives
- Represent the organization at Davos, CES, and other forward-thinking forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Published author or keynote speaker on emerging technologies and societal impact
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend synthesis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into executable business strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or Foresight Practitioners)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects with measurable outcomes
