Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies, social shifts, and market disruptions through 2026
- Develop and execute strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational growth objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineering, product, and leadership teams to embed future-ready thinking
- Author forward-looking reports and presentations for executive/board audiences
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Champion a culture of experimentation through rapid prototyping and pilot programs
- Quantify ROI of innovation initiatives using advanced impact modeling frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation consulting, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic plans
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Published thought leadership in innovation or technology domains
- Experience with AI/ML, biotech, or climate tech transformation
