Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) to identify high-impact opportunities for 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for product development and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-facing initiatives
- Produce whitepapers and thought leadership on emerging technologies' societal implications
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-generation solutions
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting long-term strategy
- Mentor junior futurists and establish industry foresight frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Proven experience with trend analysis methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex insights into actionable strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-oriented research or frameworks
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and scenario planning software
