Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy by identifying emerging technological, social, and economic trends
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable R&D roadmaps
- Produce high-impact trend reports and scenario analyses for executive decision-making
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Prototype and test futuristic concepts through rapid innovation sprints
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and investor groups
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an organization-wide future-focused mindset
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, biotechnology, or space economy
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (required)
- MSc or PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent field
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M annually
- Fluency in futures methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, Delphi analysis)
