Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping next-gen human-AI collaboration systems
- Author quarterly 'State of the Future' reports for executive and board audiences
- Architect ethical AI governance frameworks for emerging neurotechnology applications
- Partner with Venture Capital arm to identify and acquire disruptive startups in quantum/sustainability spaces
- Host executive workshops on exponential technology risks and opportunities
- Represent Horizon at Davos, Singularity Summit, and global innovation forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in futurism, innovation strategy, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in at least two exponential tech domains (quantum, biotech, AGI, climate tech)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier industry publications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, causal layered analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical narratives to non-technical stakeholders
