Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework, identifying disruptive trends across AI, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare organizational responses to future market shifts and regulatory changes
- Design and execute innovation sprints prototyping solutions for 2026-era challenges
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven impact assessments
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author annual 'Horizon Report' predicting technological inflection points through 2030
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate innovation culture across departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercialized products or services
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, synthetic biology, quantum systems)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (white papers, TED Talks)
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives in enterprise environments
