As a key member of our Global Innovation Council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D teams, and venture partners to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities. You'll leverage advanced scenario planning, market intelligence, and cross-disciplinary analysis to develop actionable strategies that position Horizon as a market leader in the rapidly evolving technological ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology foresight framework with 5-7 year horizon for AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainability innovations
- Produce executive-level trend reports and scenario analyses to inform strategic planning and investment decisions
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate emerging technology applications
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Design and implement innovation metrics to track adoption rates and ROI of future-focused initiatives
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and executive stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation analysts to build organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Strategic Foresight, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience leading high-impact innovation initiatives with measurable business outcomes
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy (preferred)
