You'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and global partners to identify paradigm shifts in AI, biotechnology, sustainable systems, and human-computer interaction. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, synthesizes complex data into compelling narratives, and drives innovation that redefines industries.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces affecting 2026+ markets
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for C-suite decision-making
- Design and execute foresight methodologies (Delphi, weak signal detection, etc.)
- Present compelling future-state narratives to stakeholders and executive teams
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into innovation roadmaps
- Build and lead a global network of futurists and domain experts
- Publish thought leadership in industry publications and conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, etc.)
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term strategy
- Published thought leadership in foresight or innovation domains
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFPC preferred)
