Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, climate, geopolitics, and socio-cultural domains
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks for executive decision-making
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops with global stakeholders
- Translate foresight insights into product roadmaps and market entry strategies
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations
- Manage cross-functional innovation projects with $5M+ budgets
- Build and mentor a high-performing futures research team
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial success
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend analysis methodologies
- Experience with AI/ML tools for predictive analytics and trend forecasting
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences and diverse stakeholders
- Published author in futures studies or innovation journals
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on organizational strategy through foresight
