Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 2026 strategic vision frameworks across AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Design and deliver executive-level trend briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Architect innovation pipelines that align emerging opportunities with corporate growth objectives
- Publish thought leadership in industry journals and speak at global futurist forums
- Mentor junior futurists and establish the organization's foresight methodology standards
- Partner with venture capital arms to evaluate frontier technology investments
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent experience in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Strategic Innovation
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Published portfolio demonstrating trend analysis translated to commercial impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and technology adoption curves
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive analytics
- Certification in APF (Association of Professional Futurists) or similar preferred
- Track record of securing multi-million dollar innovation initiatives based on foresight
- Fluency in English with additional language skills in Mandarin or Japanese a plus
