Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 technology trend forecasts through quantitative modeling and qualitative research
- Design strategic frameworks for emerging domains (AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable business opportunities
- Author high-impact thought leadership reports for C-suite stakeholders and industry forums
- Establish horizon scanning protocols to identify paradigm-shifting developments
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future-state scenarios and validate viability
- Mentor junior futurists while building an internal foresight capability
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5-10 year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains (e.g., AGI, neurotech, climate engineering)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related quantitative field
- Proficient in horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed or industry-leading publications
- Experience working with C-suite executives in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environments
