Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate resilience) and translate findings into strategic foresight frameworks
- Develop scenario-planning models for 2026-2035 horizons using quantitative/qualitative methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state visioning
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership on emerging paradigm shifts
- Integrate foresight outputs into corporate strategy, R&D pipeline, and investment decisions
- Monitor horizon scanning outputs from global intelligence networks
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an organizational culture of anticipatory thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, trend analysis, or innovation strategy roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking
- Publication record in forecasting methodologies or future-focused research
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Experience advising C-suite on long-term strategy implications
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into narratives
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ foresight projects with measurable impact
