Responsibilities

- Ensure 99.99% uptime and high performance of our global payment gateway systems.
- Implement rigorous security protocols to protect sensitive financial data and comply with PCI-DSS standards.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate complex regulatory requirements into elegant technical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Optimize database queries and system architecture for maximum efficiency.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Fintech or FinTech startups.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go, and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Deep understanding of financial regulations, security best practices, and data privacy laws.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
