Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain robust data pipelines to support real-time analytics for 16+ venues across the United States.
- Collaborate with stadium operations teams to integrate IoT sensor data, ticketing metrics, and traffic management systems.
- Implement rigorous data governance and security protocols to ensure compliance with international privacy standards.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) to handle peak load during event phases.
- Mentor junior analysts and data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Conduct regular data audits to identify bottlenecks and improve system reliability.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Data Operations, Data Engineering, or a similar technical role.
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python, and major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proven experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (Snowflake, Redshift, or similar).
- Experience working in high-volume, time-sensitive environments or large-scale event infrastructure.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
