Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to ensure real-time threat detection.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in our network architecture.
- Develop and implement robust security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks aligned with industry standards (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Lead incident response planning and execution, coordinating with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Provide expert security consulting to stakeholders and conduct regular security awareness training for employees.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related technical field.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation and threat hunting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline.
