Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of advanced network security architectures and firewalls.
- Conduct rigorous penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify system weaknesses.
- Monitor security operations centers (SOC) using SIEM tools like Splunk and QRadar for real-time threat detection.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans to neutralize cyber threats swiftly and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations including NIST, FISMA, and HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices into software development lifecycles (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or network defense.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related technical field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Windows administration and scripting (Python/Bash).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance (US Citizenship required).
