Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, high-availability cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Lead migration of legacy systems to cloud-native architectures while maintaining 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and monitoring using Ansible and CloudWatch
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize cost structures across multi-cloud environments
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and architecture workshops
- Implement robust security protocols including IAM policies and network segmentation
- Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning for production workloads
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with AWS/GCP certification
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and infrastructure-as-code
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or Bash)
- Demonstrated experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI)
- Strong understanding of network security principles and compliance frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Previous mentoring experience with cloud infrastructure teams
- Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems under pressure
