Responsibilities
- Lead the research and development of next-generation Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI architectures.
- Optimize existing models for performance, efficiency, and inference speed on edge devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, and designers to translate research into market-ready features.
- Conduct rigorous experimentation and A/B testing to validate model improvements.
- Mentor junior researchers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Publish high-impact research papers and contribute to open-source communities.
- Stay abreast of the latest academic trends and industry developments to ensure Horizon 2026 remains at the forefront of AI innovation.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Machine Learning/AI.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML research or a similar technical role.
- Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Strong understanding of deep learning principles, natural language processing (NLP), and transformer architectures.
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, etc.) or shipping production-level AI systems.
- Experience with distributed training and high-performance computing clusters.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
