Responsibilities
- Design & Architect: Design and implement high-level architecture for large-scale AI/ML systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- Lead R&D: Spearhead research initiatives into Generative AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Computer Vision to drive product innovation.
- Model Optimization: Optimize existing neural networks for deployment on edge devices and cloud environments, reducing latency and computational cost.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Strategic Planning: Work closely with product management to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and architectural blueprints.
- Code Review: Maintain the highest standards of code quality and review pull requests across the engineering team.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a specific focus on AI/ML.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX. Proven experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Transformers.
- Infrastructure: Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, unstructured problems in dynamic environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
