Job Description
Are you ready to define the technological landscape for 2026 and beyond? Nexus Horizon Labs is seeking a visionary Senior AI Architect to lead our cutting-edge research and infrastructure team.
In this pivotal role, you will not just implement existing solutions; you will architect the future. We are building the next generation of autonomous systems, predictive analytics engines, and neural interfaces. If you thrive in ambiguity and are passionate about pushing the boundaries of Artificial Intelligence, this is your opportunity to leave a lasting legacy.
Why join us?
- Work on projects that will define the industry standard for 2026.
- Competitive compensation package with equity options.
- Access to the latest hardware and cloud infrastructure.
The Role:
As the Senior AI Architect, you will bridge the gap between theoretical research and scalable production systems. You will oversee the design of our proprietary neural networks and ensure our data pipelines can handle petabyte-scale growth. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep technical expertise and the ability to mentor high-performing engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Architect Roadmaps: Define and execute the technical roadmap for 2026, focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI deployment.
- System Design: Design scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems that handle high-throughput data processing in real-time.
- Model Optimization: Lead initiatives to optimize model inference latency and reduce computational costs through quantization and pruning.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor senior engineers and architects, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of innovation.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and data scientists to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Research Integration: Evaluate emerging AI trends and integrate breakthrough technologies into our core product stack.
Qualifications
- Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on AI/ML.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years specifically in AI/ML architecture.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Cloud Mastery: Proven experience architecting solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure using managed services (SageMaker, Vertex AI, etc.).
- System Architecture: Strong understanding of microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and high-availability systems.
- Communication: Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
