Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex 2D animations using Canvas API, WebGL, and SVG.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate high-fidelity mockups into performant code.
- Optimize rendering performance to ensure 60fps animations across all devices and browsers.
- Build and maintain a robust library of reusable animation components and utilities.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices for motion design.
- Experiment with physics-based simulations and interactive storytelling techniques.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D web development or animation engineering.
- Deep expertise in JavaScript, HTML5 Canvas, and CSS3 animations.
- Proficiency in animation libraries such as GSAP, Anime.js, or Lottie.
- Strong understanding of vector graphics and scalability principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Fine Arts, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted).
- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility issues.
