Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market predictions
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints for emerging tech (quantum, biotech, AI)
- Partner with C-suite to translate tech trends into actionable business strategy
- Build and manage an R&D incubator for pre-2026 technology prototypes
- Represent company at global tech summits and publish thought leadership
- Mentor technical teams in future-proofing product architectures
- Oversee patent strategy for emerging intellectual property domains
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record in commercializing futuristic technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, or decentralized AI
- Executive experience in Fortune 500 or VC-backed scale-ups
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier journals
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for frontier technologies
