Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy protocols using 50+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical neural networks
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure federal and private grants for quantum computing initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers and drive open-source quantum software development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant computing
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and tensor networks
- Proven track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures and parallelization
