Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead experimental validation on quantum annealing systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with AI teams to hybridize classical-quantum workflows
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent disclosures
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum methodologies
- Present findings at international conferences (QEC, IEEE Quantum)
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (3+ years postdoc)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Demonstrated ability to secure research grants (NSF, DOE, etc.)
