Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping quantum computing systems
- Collaborate with NASA and private aerospace partners on quantum navigation solutions
- Develop error-correction methodologies for scalable quantum processors
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Secure federal grants and private funding for experimental quantum projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum hardware interfacing
- Demonstrated ability to secure SBIR grants or industry partnerships
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and superconducting circuits
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning and cryptography
