Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing frameworks
- Lead research initiatives targeting quantum supremacy in real-world applications
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation through hackathons and internal R&D programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published work in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Demonstrated ability to secure research grants and patents
- Excellent written communication for technical documentation and grant proposals
