Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to error-correct qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives with industry partners
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent applications
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum methodologies
- Advise on quantum ethics and security protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or information theory
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex systems
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theory to practical applications
