Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum circuits on next-generation superconducting and photonic systems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present findings at international conferences
- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with hybrid classical-quantum computing environments
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact research in quantum information science
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity theory
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (Quil, Q# Simulator) and cloud quantum platforms
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical business solutions
- Preferred: Experience with quantum machine learning or quantum cryptography
