Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors targeting 2026 scalability targets
- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with next-generation quantum architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in leading journals and present at premier quantum conferences
- Secure government and private funding for quantum computing initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithm development and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quipper)
