Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems in finance, logistics, and materials science
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and present at global tech conferences
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards and ethical frameworks
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent portfolios for breakthrough technologies
- Develop quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics and autonomous systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm development and error correction techniques
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent top-tier journals
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and quantum-specific languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Demonstrated ability to secure research grants exceeding $500K
