Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and finance
- Lead experimental validation of quantum error correction protocols on superconducting qubits
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent disclosures for novel quantum architectures
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and hardware-software co-design
- Partner with industry leaders to prototype quantum solutions for real-world challenges
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing frameworks and contribute to community standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error mitigation and fault-tolerant circuit design
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum hardware interfacing
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into commercial applications
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum Experience, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
