Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to develop quantum error correction protocols
- Lead cutting-edge research in quantum cryptography and secure communication systems
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with emerging hardware platforms
- Partner with government agencies and industry leaders on quantum security initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (exceptional Master's candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm development and quantum circuit design
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quil) and classical high-performance computing
- Demonstrated experience with quantum simulation tools and hardware interfacing
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Ability to secure government research clearances (TS/SCI preferred)
