Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and cryptography
- Lead experimental validation of quantum systems on hardware platforms including superconducting qubits and ion traps
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for real-world applications
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum computing initiatives
- Collaborate with product teams to translate research into commercial quantum solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quipper) and quantum circuit design
- Strong publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with quantum hardware integration and experimental validation
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical projects
