Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography and optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant security protocols
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Optimize quantum circuit performance using advanced error-correction techniques
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge theoretical models with physical qubit systems
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives across the organization
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience with platforms like IBM Quantum or Rigetti
- Expertise in quantum algorithm development (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing
