Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Author high-impact research publications and patents in peer-reviewed journals
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks to validate theoretical models
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing initiatives and community standards
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- Expertise in quantum mechanics, quantum information theory, and quantum algorithms
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#, or PennyLane)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and statistical modeling
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel programming
- Track record of published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and innovative thinking
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
